Wondering how to make overnight oats? Well, it's super easy.
But first, what are overnight oats? Overnight oats is simply a different way of preparing oats. With overnight oats, the oats are soaked in a liquid (any type of milk) overnight. This essentially "cooks" the oats and makes them soft and easily digestible.
Start with your dry ingredients. With Anchor Oats' pre-made overnight oat dry mixes, it's fast and convenient. If you're making your own, you'll want to combine oats, nuts, fruit, seeds, and spices.
Pour about ½ cup of overnight oats into a resealable jar or container. Use more or less depending on the final serving size you prefer.
Add about ½ cup of your favorite milk. Again, you can use more milk if you prefer thinner overnight oats or less milk if you prefer thicker oats.
Secure the lid and shake. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
