This oatmeal features the traditional flavors and ingredients like cinnamon, nutmeg, walnuts, and raisins. It takes things one step further by including chia and flax seeds for healthy omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, antioxidants, iron, and calcium. The cinnamon and nutmeg offer a full-flavor oatmeal.

Anchor Oats oatmeal is oatmeal like you’d make it at home with a little extra of this and a little more of that. We didn’t skimp on the good stuff. You’ll find plenty of walnuts, raisins, and spices in every bite.

Recommended Preparation: This oatmeal is prepared with hot water in a microwave or stovetop and finished with milk and brown sugar if desired.

The Anchor Oats traditional style oatmeal was the inspiration for starting Anchor Oats. I started making this oatmeal to take on our weekend boat trips and backpacking for a hearty, healthy, and warm breakfast. I mixed up my own because there was nothing ready-made in the market that met my needs for no added sugar, high protein, and came in minimal packaging.
